eVA Registration

Tuesday, May 21 at 11am 

These free in-person workshops are designed to educate small, woman and/or minority business owners about opportunities to sell their goods and services to the Commonwealth of Virginia and many local governments – including the City of Alexandria! Each year the State buys goods and services totaling more than $8 billion – learn how your company can be a part of that! The workshop will provide information about the Virginia procurement process and will walk through registering in the eVA system in real time.

Who should attend: Small business owners that are interested in state and local procurement opportunities.

Please bring your laptop as you will be walking through the eVA registration in real-time.

 

 

SWaM Certification

Monday, June 24 at 11am

Are you a small, women-owned, or minority-owned business who wants to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia? Small business owners who are looking to participate in Virginia’s specialized procurement and contracting opportunities are encouraged to become SWaM certified. The SWaM certification is a vehicle to promote economic growth of Virginia’s businesses.  In this workshop learn the process and benefits to become SWaM certified in Virginia.

Please bring your laptop to this in-person workshop.

Note: There is a list of supporting documents required to become SWaM-certified. If you are looking to be SWaM-certified by the end of our workshop, please scan these documents and save them on the laptop you are bringing to the workshop.
