SWaM Certification

Are you a Small, Women-owned, or Minority-owned business who has a product or service to sell to the Commonwealth of Virginia? Small business owners who are looking to participate in Virginia’s specialized procurement and contracting opportunities are encouraged to become SWaM certified. Virginia has a goal of procuring at least 42% of its discretionary goods and services from “SWaM” certified vendors. Discover how you can be a part of that!
What You’ll Learn:
✅ An overview for Virginia’s SWaM certification process.
✅ Advantages of being SWaM-certified.
✅ Walk through SWaM certification in real time. (NOTE: Be sure you have your supporting documents in order to complete this step during our workshop.)
💻 NOTE: To complete your SWaM certification during the workshop, you must bring a laptop that already has all required supporting documents scanned and saved on it. Be sure to review the document checklist in advance so you’re fully prepared.
