Outdoor dining and vending has been a win/win for both business owners and customers, and well-designed, landscaped and lighted outdoor facilities are attracting more customers SAFELY to those establishments. When multiple outdoor spaces create a critical mass, that entire neighborhood becomes a greater attraction.
Join our panel discussion at 2pm on Tuesday, September 29th to learn from those who’ve built such spaces. They’ll share how they did it, sources of materials, costs, and lessons learned. The panel will also include representatives to answer questions about getting permits, meeting heath department requirements, and preparing for winter weather. AEDP staff will explain how Alexandria Back to Business grant funds can be used to finance buildouts of outdoor spaces.
