AEDP: Hi there! Tell me a little about your business.
Annette Antonelli (AA): Izalia is all about using the power of light, energy and sound (laser, radio frequency & ultrasound) to remove things from the skin that are not wanted, like dark hair, age spots, fine lines, and more. We are locally owned and operated and for nearly 20 years have been pouring our soul into maintaining our status as the very best in laser aesthetics in the entire metro area.
AEDP: What’s been the highlight for you this past year?
AA: Winning the Best Med Spa category again this year through the Northern Virginia Magazine poll is meaningful to us because it’s a 100% voter-based survey and winning lets us know our efforts at excellence are landing as we intend. When new clients tell us we were highly recommended by a trusted friend, it fills us with joy and fuels our passion to continue giving 100% in all we do. AEDP: Congratulations on the award! What is your favorite thing about spending the holidays in Alexandria?
AA: We are true locals and love all the feels that Alexandrians create together as a community–for each other and for our tourists. We love going all out with our seasonal decor as well as participating in the various events and parades that bind our community together. During the holidays you’ll find us wearing elf hats and reindeer headbands.
