Shayna is the Communications Digital Designer at AEDP, where she brings the organization’s visual identity to life across digital, print, and campaign materials. She plays a key role in implementing AEDP’s brand content strategy—translating complex ideas into compelling visuals that reflect the City’s energy, achievements, and goals. Since the launch of AEDP’s refreshed brand and website, Shayna has focused on building cohesive design systems that elevate everything from event promotions to advertising campaigns.
A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Studio Art, Shayna combines her background in fine arts with a strong eye for modern design and storytelling. She’s passionate about using design as a tool to inform, inspire, and connect with Alexandria’s diverse audiences.
Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, Shayna is enjoying getting to know the charm of Alexandria—especially its food scene and vintage shops. Outside the office, she can often be found working on new paintings, exploring local thrift stores, or grabbing a bite at Mia’s or Junction Bakery.
