Amanda serves as the Business Intelligence Analyst for AEDP, where she provides the data and research that guides the organization’s business development and real estate strategies. Her work includes analyzing trends in labor, commercial real estate, and the broader economy to help promote Alexandria as a premier destination for business growth. Prior to joining AEDP, Amanda worked in economic development for Fairfax County. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
An Alexandria resident and community advocate, Amanda is passionate about how economic development can strengthen neighborhoods and improve quality of life. On weekends, you’ll often find her volunteering with local animal rescue groups, exploring Alexandria’s trails and parks, or browsing the Old Town Farmer’s Market with a coffee in hand.
Her favorite local spots include Don Taco, Virtue Feed & Grain, Southside 815, and Chadwicks for brunch—or anywhere with a waterfront view and good gelato.
