As Senior Vice President, Marian oversees AEDP’s core economic development divisions: business investment, real estate, and small business. She joined AEDP after nearly eight years in senior leadership roles at Arlington Economic Development, where she worked on a number of high-impact projects and initiatives—including Amazon HQ2. Marian has held leadership roles on the Virginia Economic Developers Association (VEDA) board and committees, as well as those of the Northern Virginia Economic Development Alliance (NOVA EDA).
Before discovering the dynamic world of economic development, Marian worked as a financial professional at Exxon Mobil Corporation and as a program manager at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
Marian holds a B.A. in Russian Studies from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in International Business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. A long-time fan of Old Town’s food and cocktail scene, she loves discovering all the hidden gems across Alexandria’s many character-rich neighborhoods.
