Senay is the Strategic Partnership Manager at AEDP, where he leads ecosystem-building strategy and community engagement efforts to expand access to capital, resources, and support for small businesses across the City. 

Senay brings a decade of experience advancing inclusive economic growth. Prior to joining AEDP, he served as a Senior Program Manager at World Education Services (WES). In that role, he supported a national network of state and local governments, as well as public and private institutions. He focused on advancing technical assistance programs and sharing best practices to help internationally trained professionals integrate into the workforce.  

Earlier in his career, Senay worked at the Ethiopian Community Development Council, leading refugee integration efforts, managing grants and supporting small business development. He also gained valuable experience in data analysis and marketing strategy at MOI, Inc., helping inform decisions that drove organizational growth.  

Senay is passionate about forging pathways to equitable opportunities for entrepreneurs and community members. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Africana Studies from James Madison University.
