Startup Spotlight: Enabld joins Collision Conference

The fastest growing tech conference in the nation, Collision, is set to take place April 30-May 3, 2018. From the team behind Web Summit, this New Orleans based conference features CEO’s of fast-growing startups and representatives from large companies. Almost 20,000 attendees from 119 countries will be present.

Among the attendees is the coalition NOVA in NOLA, comprised of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) and Arlington Economic Development (AED) in support of Northern Virginia startups. Startups chosen by NOVA in NOLA will be featured each week leading up to the conference.

The startup, Enabld, recently secured a position in the NOVA in NOLA roster heading to Collision. Enabld is a team of US Army veterans, and seasoned programmers, committed to demystifying cybersecurity, heralding the motto “empower the unprotected.”

Enabld takes cybersecurity head-on through resource aggregation and education. By providing information on pre-existing consumer-level cybersecurity products, anyone can increase their digital security easily and instantly. Lembright explained how products [are presented] in a simple marketplace so anyone can find what they need to protect what they care about, for free. Small businesses can also be protected with helpful content and workshops, regardless of budget or tech experience. Lembright wants to spread awareness of the Enabld brand at Collision and hopes to help those at Collision stay safe online with free advice and content.

Startup companies joining NOVA in NOLA were evaluated based on their current status, future needs, and potential impact on the region. Both Alexandria and Arlington are known for being at the forefront of the regionalism mindset and collaboration within the D.C. area.
