Gloria is the Assistant Director of the Alexandria Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Gloria has been with the Alexandria SBDC since 2000 and has developed the educational programming of the SBDC and counseled hundreds of small business owners in areas such as Startup, City Processes, and Federal/State Procurement. Prior to her employment with the Alexandria SBDC, she was the aide to an Alexandria City Council Member. Earlier in her career Gloria practiced law for the federal government and worked with several nonprofit organizations.
Gloria has a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. She has lived in the Braddock Heights area of Alexandria for 40 years, raised her family there, and cannot imagine living anywhere else – the perfect combination of a thriving city with a small-town feel!
