Small business owners who are looking to participate in Virginia’s specialized procurement and contracting opportunities are encouraged to become SWaM certified. Virginia has a goal of procuring at least 42% of its discretionary goods and services from “SWaM” certified vendors. Discover how you can be a part of that! \nWhat You’ll Learn:\n✅ An overview for Virginia’s SWaM certification process.\n✅ Advantages of being SWaM-certified.\n✅ Walk through SWaM certification in real time. (NOTE: Be sure you have your supporting documents in order to complete this step during our workshop.) \nWho should attend:\n💡Small business owners that are interested in state and local procurement opportunities. \nNOTE: To complete your SWaM certification during the workshop\, you must bring a laptop that already has all required supporting documents scanned and saved on it.
